Open the item and tap the button that names its marketplace, for example "Buy on Vinted". The original listing opens in your browser, and you complete the purchase there with that marketplace's buyer protection. ThriftUp never takes payment. If the item sold in the meantime, the app tells you and shows similar pieces.
The sizes you chose during onboarding are applied to your whole feed. To change them, open the Saved tab and tap "My filters". If a chat search left a filter on, remove its tag at the top of the feed or tell the chat "clear the filter".
Only from the items you save. Scrolling past something, or how long you look at it, never changes your recommendations. To start over, ask the chat to redo the style quiz.
Yes — attach a photo in the chat. It is analysed on our servers to find visually similar or matching pieces and then discarded; uploaded photos are never stored.
In iOS Settings → Notifications → ThriftUp. Notifications are only used for things like an item you saved being sold; never for marketing.
Email info@thrift-up.com. ThriftUp has no accounts, so we will ask for your device identifier and explain where to find it, then erase everything tied to it within a month. Deleting the app alone does not delete server-side data. Details in the privacy policy.
Send the link to info@thrift-up.com and we will remove it from the feed. Sellers and rights holders can use the same address for takedown requests.
No. ThriftUp is an independent app that links to public listings on those marketplaces. Purchases, shipping and buyer protection are handled by the marketplace you buy on.
